Q. Can you guarantee the make and model of the car I prefer?
A. On arrival advise the staff of your preference and we will do our best to suit your needs. It will be based on availability.
Q. If I don’t show up for my reservations will I still be charged full price?
A. Sorry we do not provide refunds if you do not show up.
Q. If I cancel my reservation will I still be charged?
A. Rent for Less Maui is offering full refunds on bookings cancelled more than 24 hours prior to your arrival.
Q. Will Rent for Less Maui pick me up?
Please note: Due to COVID, Maui county is prohibited rental car businesses from parking the cars at the airport parking lot. Customers must pick up and drop off vehicles at our office location conveniently located in Kahului just 3-5 minute drive from the airport? 24 Hour pick up and drop off at our office.
Q. What are the driver’s license requirements for renting in the US and Canada?
A. Customers who reside in the United States, U.S. Territories, or Canada must present a valid, unexpired government-issued driver’s license which includes a photograph of the customer. Digital licenses are not accepted. The driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period.
Q. Does Rent for Less Maui offer unlimited mileage on car rentals?
A. Yes! Unlimited mileage for all our inventory.
Q. Can I rent a car if I am under the age of 25?
A. Yes! customers between the ages of 21-25 are eligible to rent a vehicle from RFLM but restrictions apply, you must choose our full insurance coverage insurance $20/day

What to expect: We take pride in our service and our vehicles. You can expect an immaculately clean vehicle in good condition. Nobody has a better kept fleet than ours. Expect personalized services, such as road maps and directions to your destination. All our cars are equipped with radio, air conditioning and low mileage.
Insurance: Rates include state required no fault insurance.
Collision damage waiver: This coverage is highly recommended and we offer it for $12.95 a day ($500 deductible). Without this coverage, you are responsible for any damage to your vehicle. Or $20/day full coverage.
State of Hawaii Taxes and Fees: There is a 4.167% sales tax. There is also $5.00 a day state of Hawaii surcharge on all rental vehicles. These are the only state fee’s
24 hours Clock: Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour clock. In order to avoid being charged an additional day, you will need to enter the same pick up and drop off time. For example, if you request a rental car for pick up on Friday at 9:00 AM and drop off on Saturday at 9:00 AM, which is considered a one day rental.
